MASSAGES (All massages include calming music, aromatherapy, hot towels, and a warm table on which to lay...except the Thai Yoga Massage, which is not performed on a table.)
Therapeutic Massage: The massage I gravitate towards giving is a combination of a relaxing Swedish massage and an effective Deep Tissue massage with some Trigger Point Therapy, always tailored to what your body needs. However, if the massage needs to be more relaxing and less intense--or vice versa--all you have to do is say something. My goal is to make you happy. (A more vigorous, stretching-intensive Sports Massage is available at the same prices.)

Thai Yoga Massage: This massage is performed on a cushioned mat on the floor with the client wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. It is intended to be given in silence as I, the therapist, work pressure points along what the Thai call "Sen lines" to relax and recharge your body, along with a series of stretching, range-of-motion exercises, and passive yogic poses into which I will put your body, providing deep stretching and amazing relaxation. This is very different from what we Westerners generally consider massage, but you won't be disappointed with how fantastic you feel!

Prenatal Massage: (Not to be performed until a woman is in her 2nd trimester, as a woman's body is very vulnerable in the 1st trimester. Please have your doctor's permission.) Using a combination of comfortable pillows and cushions, this massage is designed to help the expecting mother de-stress. During massage, the mother's body will release endorphins, causing the body to relax and alleviate the discomforts that can be associated with pregnancy. By creating a harmonious, peaceful environment for the mother, the baby will benefit, too!

Foot Treatment: Using sea salt and hydrating oil for a stimulating exfoliation in conjunction with essential oils and Reflexology, this treatment of the lower leg and foot is fantastic for tired, overworked feet! The treated areas will be soft and soothed by the time you leave. You have a choice between peppermint (stimulating) or lavender (calming) essential oils.

FACIALS (Each full facial includes a skin consultation, thorough skin-cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, treatment mask, moisturization, and massage of the face, neck, shoulders, and hands. They are performed on a heated table, with relaxing music and aromatherapy subtly complementing your treatment. Unless contraindicated, your facial will often include hot towels and a facial steaming. Express facials do not include extractions, nor do they include much of the massage. I am currently using a combination of Dermalogica and Bioelements products.)

WAXING (I tend to use hard, stripless wax whenever and wherever possible. It generally causes less irritation to the skin, as it shrink-wraps around each individual hair as the wax cools, rather than adhering to the skin. This "shrink-wrapping" hurts less. However, that being said, there are certain areas where strip wax is best, including the legs, arms, and back.)
